Remembering Kevin
My friend, Kevin Woodward , died of cancer on June 23, 2024. Please click on his name to access the obituary to get more information about him if you wish. He’d been painting for years, been in shows, won awards for his art, etc; I was a rookie. From the very beginning, he was trying to get m

This exhibit bri

Some of my website blogs this year (including this one for February at the time of writing - “the month for love”) are coming from this fascinating book by Veronica Kavass Artists in Love . My first blog in this series involves the relationships involving my two favorite artists - Jackson Po

November Apologies, Looking Back on 2023, & Looking Forward to 2024
I want to begin by apologizing for not providing a November blog. Some health issues came up that I had to use most of the month just to figure out what the {BLEEP} was going on. More might be ahead, but I have things somewhat under control now. Thank you for your patience and support! 2023 was a YEAR of great traveling and art but also great sadness. AND, to make things more complicated, THE BEST art was in direct result of the great sadness. While I loved discovering the Bu
