A lot of LIFE has happened to me since my return to East Hampton in October, but I wanted to make sure to offer a few words and images from those few days including more beach time, my first protest, and a hint about my wonderful tour guide at the Pollock-Krasner House.
After my first visit, I vowed to include more beach time in my return, and I did that AND THEN some. The weather was great, the views were phenomenal, and the shell haul wasn’t bad, either!
My return to East Hampton coincided with the No Kings protest day in October. For REASONS, I don’t feel safe protesting where I live. Knowing anything can happen to anyone anywhere, I felt more safe protesting in East Hampton, so I and my fellow patriots lined both sides of the main road through the village for MILES. It was a great day with great people.
The guided tours at the Pollock-Krasner House are NOT to be missed. I’ve made wonderful connections with the people who work there and are dedicated to preserving the legacies of Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollock. My tour guide when I was there in October has a special connection! What is it? Hit me up at the ‘contact’ link, and I’ll share.
Octobers in that glorious part of the country with so much history and SO MANY VIBES are going to be a yearly tradition (at least) as long as I’m able. I’m already thinking about ‘next time!'
